There's always a loaf of Mom's wheat bread in our breadbox or on the counter, ready for a quick, peanut butter snack, a hot, toasted slice with jam for breakfast, a satisfying sandwich for lunch or served as a bread 'n' butter side for dinner.
The browned crust is just hard enough to munch on, but soft enough for little teeth. The bread is nutritious goodness in every bite. The batter consisting of rolled oats, molasses, (extra iron!) skim milk, salt, olive oil, honey, ground flaxseed, (Omega 3) and of course, organic, fresh-ground whole wheat!
